Fast, reliable, and efficient
SION 3AE5 vacuum circuit breakers are suited for all standard switching applications in medium-voltage power distribution and industrial networks: from switching load and short-circuit currents to connecting network or busbar sections. Retrofitting into existing switchgears is also easy, thanks to the wide variety of distances between pole centers and vertical distance between terminals, as well as an extensive range of mounting accessories. Their compact structure, with minimal depth and width dimensions, helps reduce the variety of panels needed. The wide range of panel versions also makes planning easier. The SION 3AE5 vacuum circuit breakers are available with an optional grounding switch for fixed mounting and plug-in versions.

Space-saving and flexible
The SION Lateral 3AE6 vacuum circuit breakers are specifically designed for low apparent power ratings in secondary medium-voltage power distribution. They reliably switch arcing faults and can be flexibly used in ring main units and transformer stations, and for retrofitting in transformer substations, wind turbines, and photovoltaic plants. The circuit breakers are available for different pole distances and for left-mounted or right-mounted drives. They are much more compact and lightweight than any comparable product. Therefore it saves space and is much easier to transport and install. Panel builders can choose from a variety of connection options to the high voltage contacts for an optimal busbar.
